"Ways to become rich and successful", and other horsecrap

Am I the only one who gets pissed off upon hearing about "ways to become successful" and "to become rich"? As far as I know, the stock market and economy in general behave as chaotic systems -that is, negligible changes in seemingly insignificant parameters can lead -and will lead- to colossal changes of the output in the long term.

When it comes to economy, that means that no matter how talented, hard-working, and intelligent you are, whether you will end up high or low in the socioeconomic hierarchy depends on external factors, and your control over them... is equal to the control of a feather over its' movement through a windstorm.

Of course, each kind of feather will have its' own movement in the windstorm -a big and heavy feather may not be taken away by it the same way as a lighter one. Similarly, an intelligent/hard-working/persistent person may not end up in the same fate as an unintelligent/lazy/impatient one. Yet a windstorm is still a windstorm, and economy is still economy, no matter what kind of "feather" you are.

Imagine feathers carried away by this windstorm sincerely believing that they control their own movement!

How will you "become rich and successful", you fucking idiot?

Will you become rich and successful if you are hard-working? There are billions of hard-working people on the planet. How many of them are "rich"? Whether in America, or China, or Greece, you will find countless workers who work tirelessly even 10 hours per day. How many of them  become rich, or even middle-classed? The slaves of the ancient Athenians who built up the Parthenon were hard-working. Did they become rich? Did history write their names?

Will you become rich and successful if you are intelligent? There are hundreds of millions of intelligent people out there. How many of them become rich, or even middle-classed? In Japan about 1/10 scores more than 130 points on IQ tests -they are literally geniuses for the western standards. Does that make them rich by default? Among all of those geniuses in Japan there are plenty of "losers" in low-wage posts. And others who do not just just a below-than-average income, but are literally live in the streets. Perhaps it is a matter of luck, isn't it?

Will you become rich and successful if you are talented? One can find countless talented singers, actors, poets, and artists in general, most of which are nearly unknown and without a penny. If you bother watching TV you will be seeing the same dozens of actors and stars everywhere. What the heck, does the world have such a lack of talent with a population of 7.000.000.000? Even if only 1/1.000 was
